Hall Green, Birmingham opened its doors to greyhound racing in August 1927 and this year 2002 will see us celebrate 75 years of greyhound racing. Hall Green stadium is one of 6 tracks owned by the GRA group who pride themselves on producing some of the top greyhound racing and trackside dining facilities with in the UK, and this year also saw for the second year running Hall Green winning the prestigious Western and Midlands track of the year which was voted by William Hill and the BGRB. The track has been one of the jewels in the GRA crown since it opened in 1927. As such it has been the subject of considerable investment over the years. That has paid off handsomely in terms of turnover. In October 1990 Hall Green opened its own Hotel, situated adjacent to the third and fourth bends. Another addition has been a snooker hall, which is along the back straight of the track. RACE DAYS Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evenings plus Thursdays in December, but please phone for details.
