At Romford Greyhound Stadium you will find everything you need to enjoy an exciting evening's entertainment every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings and some afternoons. For all those meetings, the doors open at 6.30 p.m. and the first race is at 7.35 p.m. The last race is at 10.35 p.m. There is also racing on some Thursday afternoons and every Saturday morning. History of Coral Romford Stadium Romford began racing on 21st June 1929 and moved to its present site two years later. Many changes have taken place since that first race meeting. New air conditioned kennels were installed in 1996 and the whole racing circuit was redesigned in 1997. The refurbished Millennium Stand was officially opened in July 1999 and our new children's play area was completed at the start of the new Millennium. |
