Brighton is one of the most intimate racecourses in the country, overlooking the South Downs and the English Channel. For the past five years the course has been under the management of Northern Racing, and a four million pound refurbishment programme has been carried out. The entire ground floor of the main Grandstand has been rebuilt to include new bars, food outlets, betting positions and toilets for both Members and Tattersalls customers. All twelve hospitality suites have been renovated and there is also a new Parade Ring, Owners and Trainers Bar and refurbished Members' Restaurant.

How to get to Brighton:

By Car: Take the A27 Brighton bypass to Sussex University. Leave at the exit for Woodingdean - the B2123. Turn right at the traffic lights in the centre of Woodingdean. The racecourse is a mile along this road.

By Train:

You can reach Brighton in less than one hour from London. Trains run from Victoria, London Bridge and Kings Cross. Frequent services also operate from Portsmouth, Worthing, Eastbourne and Lewes.

By Bus:

Courtesy bus service - there is a free bus service from Brighton Station to the racecourse starting two hours before the first race. The bus parks outside the Grosvenor Casino, just 100 yards from the station entrance. There are return journeys after racing from a bus stop outside the Members' Entrance. Alternatively local bus services 2, 21 and 22.

By Air:

Helicopters may land at the racecourse with prior permission from the course management.

Facilities for the Disabled

New disabled access has been created to both the Members and Tattersalls enclosures. There are disabled toilets and lifts to take disabled customers to the higher levels of the Grandstand.

Facilities for Children

There is free admission for children aged under 16 years. Children's activity packs are available.
