Hamilton Park hosts Flat racing from April right through to September and the summer evening meetings are popular social occasions, especially for people working in Edinburgh and Glasgow. There are some great events throughout the summer at Hamilton Park, for example, the Sunday Fun Day on May 2 2004, Ladies Night on June 24 2004, Velvet Fair Friday on July 16 2004, featuring the Tennents Scottish Stewards Cup, Scottish Racing Day on July 24th and September Weekend Festival Finale on September 27 2004.

By Car:

The racecourse is ten miles south of Glasgow. From Glasgow, take the M74 and exit Junction 5. From Edinburgh take the M8, exit Junction 6 and take the A723. From the south, take the A74 and M74 from Carlisle and exit Junction 5.

By Train:

Trains from London Euston and Yorkshire run to Glasgow Central. From here, take a connection to Hamilton West.

By Bus:

Buses from Glasgow pass the course gates.

By Air:

Glasgow Airport - 20 miles. Edinburgh Airport - 35 miles.
