Cambridgeshire's racecourse lies just outside Huntingdon near the small village of Brampton, and is set in the area's characteristic flat fenlands. This friendly, unpretentious national hunt course attracts enthusiastic racegoers. A few of the most popular fixtures are the Boxing Day meeting the Mascot Grand National in September, Hunterchase evenings, with live music in May, the Easter and Boxing Day meetings and the Peterborough Chase Day in November. By Car: The course is just outside Brampton, a mile east of the A1. The A1/M11 link road takes you right past the course. By Train: Huntingdon station is two miles from the course on the line from London King's Cross. There is a bus from Huntingdon to Brampton a mile and a quarter away, or taxi's are available.
