Ludlow Racecourse is located in the picturesque Shropshire countryside with a nine hole golf course in the centre. There are 12 or so mid-week jump meetings a year and this homely course offers an enjoyable and informal day's racing. A highlight of the racing calendar is the Prince of Wales Amateur Riders' Handicap Chase in December. How to get to Ludlow By Car: The racecourse is two miles north west of Ludlow. From the north take the A49 via Shrewsbury or via Hereford from the south. From the west take the A4113 and from the east the A44 from Worcester followed by the A49. By Train: From Paddington or Euston, pick up the Shrewsbury line at Newport. Disabled facilitiesThere is a viewing ramp and ground floor toilets.
