Market Rasen is the only racetrack in Lincolnshire, and is exclusively a national hunt course. Market Rasen hosts 19 race meetings a year and offers some of the best viewing of any racecourse. There is Jump Racing at Market Rasen throughout the year. Feature days include the Summer Plate Meeting on July 17 2004 with the Tote Summer Plate, three Super Family Sundays on July 4, August 1, and October 3 2004 and the Boxing Day Meeting. The National Hunt is a right-handed oval circuit of 1m 2f, slightly undulating. How to get to Market Rasen:By Car: Twelve miles north east of Lincoln, the racecourse is just off the A46, next to the A631. From the south, take the A1 to the A46. From the north, take the M62, M18 and M180 link to the A15 followed by the A631 at Caenby Corner. By Train: From London Kings Cross, change at Newark for the Newark to Cleethorpes line. The station is a ten minute walk from the racecourse. Disabled FacilitiesThere is a special viewing area and disabled toilets.
