Newbury Racecourse, home to one of the season's great races 'the Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup' offers 28 days of racing over both the Flat and jumps. Facilities are first class and there are great views of the course from most areas. For the first time Newbury Racecourse will hold its first Festival, the Hennessy Festival, in November. There are many first class races at Newbury including the Tote Gold Trophy, the Lane's End Greenham Stakes, the Juddmonte Lockinge Stakes, the Dubai Duty Free Fred Darling Stakes, the Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup and the AON Chase. How to get to Newbury:By Car: From the east and London take the M4, exiting Junction 12 for the A4. From the west take the M4 and exit Junction 13. By Train: Newbury racecourse station is on the course. The National Hunt course is left-handed, flat and galloping with well-constructed fences with a 1m 7f circuit. The flat is left-handed, almost flat, roughly 1m 7f with 41/2f run-in. Races on round mile and over 7f 60 yds start on chute. Straight mile has minor undulations. Disabled Facilities Good viewing facilities plus suitable toilets are available. Children's FacilitiesThe Rocking Horse nursery takes up to eight year olds and the crèche is open on racedays and non-racedays. Baby changing and feeding facilities available too.
