Wetherby Racecourse is unique in Yorkshire because it only stages jump racing. Offering some of the finest jumping course in the North, the quality of Wetherby's racing is renowned throughout the sport. By Car: Wetherby racecourse is situated on the B1224 Wetherby/York road, at the East side of the A1. From the South, take the second exit for Wetherby from the A1, the sign posted 'Racecourse'. Turn right onto the B1224 to York. The Racecourse is approximately half a mile away on the right hand side. From the North take the first exit for Wetherby. Turn right onto the B1224 towards York. Same directions apply. By Train: York station is about 13 miles away and Harrogate is approximately nine miles away. By Air: Helicopters can land at the racecourse by prior agreement.
