Worcester Racecourse, set in the ancient cathedral city on the banks of the River Severn, is a delightful National Hunt track which stages seven months of racing each year. Worcester is one of just six National Hunt courses which offer summer jumping throughout June, July and August and these meetings prove particularly popular with racegoers. Worcester caters well for families with a permanent play area adjacent to the centre course picnic car park. Worcester offers 17 summer fixtures including some excellent evening meetings and Ladies Day. How to get to Worcester:By Car: From the M5, take Junction 6, then follow the A449 and A38. Once in the city centre, follow the brown tourism direction signs. By Train: Worcester Foregate Street station is a five minute walk from the course and Shrubb Hill is a short taxi ride.
